Maybe he'll be annoyed at you for taking out a loan that you couldn't afford to pay back, then further foolishly failed to even pay what the payday loan company generously allowed you to.

Maybe he'll get really mad when you tell him despite this, you then took out another loan with another payday company.

Finally he might actually just go completely ballistic at you, when he then finds out that rather than accept what you have done like a responsible adult, you choose instead to try to blame everyone else.

Unfortunately I doubt he will and therefore you will no doubt continue to go through life making the same mistakes time and time again.

Yeh, that's ever so helpful advice.

Seriously, leave this thread and post in DFW, where most people are very helpful and non judgemental.

At the end of the day though, it is a public forum so there'll always be some people making those kind of comments. Ignore them and take on board the advice given by the rest.

Saxxle-Cuz - just incase you don't understand what DFW is...

People are mean sometimes so you'd be better posting a thread here where they are nicer!:

Lots of people in the same boat who can offer helpful, non-judgemental advice! Good luck and all the best! Don't panic!

they probably did you a favour taking the 200 quid. you'd probably owe them 10,000 by now if they hadn't.

They took over 1,000. I believe that 225 (or thereabouts) was the original amount borrowed.

I would definitely open a new bank account - especially as you are not sure they won't try to take further money as you can't seem to find out how much you actually owe them.
As to gettting your money back - well to be honest I don't think they will really care that it is your rent money etc etc - in their eyes - you borrowed that money and didn't pay so they took it - you could try talking to them but I don't think they will be sympathetic.
Banks are allowed to take money you owe them I think as long as it's not benefits so I'm not sure this case would be any different - sorry.
You do need to take the good advice and ignore the idiots. Trying to borrow from parents/friends is probably your best bet and/or getting help from work as well as talking to your landlord, electric company etc.
Good Luck - I hope things work out for you.
