I had this once in a basement flat. I couldn't quite bring myself to leave trails of salt outside the old crittal french doors where they were coming in so I used coarse sand instead which seemed enough to deter them. A friend once had them coming in through an airbrick into her kitchen which freaked her out ! They like damp places to hide, so cut any grass/plants back from near the house. Or try using a slug pub outside to encourage them to leave (although I've always thought emptying those would be pretty horrid). Otherwise I think it's just a case of following the trails & picking them up... sorry. Although by blocking up their entrance holes you may be stopping them leaving too, so it might be worth unblocking the holes & tempting them nearby with beer. :beer:0

Do you have a cat? I ask because slugs LOVE cat food!! We used to get up in the morning to see snail trails all around the cat food bowls. Making sure that the food wasnt left out overnight seemed to cure the problem though.0
