    Hi there and welcome.

I'd agree you've done the hardest thing. Actually your budget is adfift by just a bit Ithink, about £50. If you could stick to it, no more higher than contract mobile bills and no unplanned shopping, you should be able to start making inroads. Maybe it's a matter ofgetting in control of it all and you've made the first step by listing everything and deciding to "get to grips".

  • verbatim I think waht you said about getting in control is spot on. Whilst i do feel sooooooooo bad about things it has actually helped by writing all of it down & talking to you all about it. All i've been doing lately is just checking that i'm within the O/D without actually tackling it. I suppose I was too scared about the scale of it all.

Have you ever gone over your overdraft, or had any direct debits or standing orders "fail" as there are insufficient funds in your account?
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

Well paying more than the minimum is really important too so well done again. However the snowballing technique means paying all available cash to the debt which attracts the highest interest and paying just the minimum payments to the rest. This will get you debt free quickest.
