    Or you can freeze them... I know it is not the same as fresh ones straight from the pod, but you can save up enough this way to have a proper portion.

    I just picked first pod from my peas - ok, they were small(ish), but they tasted great!

    Try putting raw podded peas into your green salad - delicious! You don't need so many either. They also make fantastic risotto.:j

    pea and mint risotto is lovely too! (just don't put too much mint in it) :)

    My (italian) husband was shocked at seeing on TV in one of the cooking programs mint being put in pea risotto.
