Hole in wall

Options
Our 7 year old has managed to put a small hole about the size of a 2p coin in a non-supporting wall in his bedroom. The wall seems to be thin plasterboard and the hole has gone right through one side (ie, you can see into the cavity) but hasn't damaged the other side of the wall.

What is the best way to repair this? Obviously a filler is no good as there is no "backing" due to the cavity.

Thanks.
