The national debtline have a number of letters that you can send to creditors
http://www.nationaldebtline.co.uk/england_wales/temp/5004_53311.pdf - offers a token payment and asks to hold interest
But I found this one on an old thread which says it all I think (see post #3) https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/1485073

Congratulations :j
Just remember - there is a still a long road ahead in setting up your plan. The various companies you owe to won't make it easy. However, stick to your guns and everything will settle down in time!
After a job loss and the usual story I entered into a DMP with the CCCS. They have been great so far! I'm only waiting for one more creditor to accept my plan and stop interest - all the others have
.
Stick around on these forums - lots of smart people with amazing advice and support. Everyday I browse these forums and learn tips and tricks constantly. I have picked up lots of recipes and my food bill is now about 60-70 pound per month. I do lots of cooking now! it's also pretty fun and it saves an absolute fortune, really!
Anyway, congratulations again, you're on the right road! Stay strong :TJust another dumbass with money...
