Hi all,
Just entering into DMP with payplan. I was really scared about initially phoning them, but they have been great!
I've only got as far as the first long phone call... and now opened new bank account. The staff have been nothing but helpful so far.
Still nervous about the next couple of months.... but payplan seem to know what they're doing!
Anyone else got payplan and can tell me how they've got on from the initial setting up to settling in to the plan?
Your views will be much appreciated
Cheers:)

We started on our DMP in March 2008 with Payplan, and to be honest its probably the best thing we did. It only took a couple of months for everything to settle down, and the creditors eventually stopped ringing. It gave us peace of mind, and I slept for the first time in months.! The best advice I can give you is to budget, make sure that you put money away for all your utility bills, insurance, car tax, M.O.T etc, and stick to your housekeeping budget. We managed to save a little every month as well. Have a look at the Money Saving Oldstyle board, and check out the receipes etc. You will get some good ideas.
Good luck

Well done on posting and the first long phone call! I can't offer any advice on this unfortunately - only general support and any money saving tips I have picked up from these boards (and from making mistakes!)

7 years is not that long, but if you could get it down to 5 or so that be fantastic.
