we was awarded both of these in april 2010 as i moved my partner in with me n the kids and he works....
what i want to know is from that award our income was 9342.00 for the 2008-2009 year as he wasnt working part of the year of 08
now we have just had his p60 and the earnings for tax year to end of april 2010 on that is 10661.00 obviously as he worked the full year...
how much difference will our tax credits be lowered? (if any)
and also i havent had a form or a phone call as yet to renew our tax credits??

With a 10K income, i dont think your award will decrease at all. I cant remember what the tapering begins at in a joint household for WTC purposes, but it certainly wont alter your ctc. If your wtc DOES decrease, it will only be by a very small amount.0

Id give them a quick ring to ask when your renewal pack was issued. If for some reason it was lost in the post, this will get them to reissue a new one.0

Hi
The 1st threshold is £6420 then they deduct 39p per pound over this
you have a increase of income of £1319 so times that by .39 will give you roughly how much your award will drop over the whole award
1319x.39= £514.41
not really that much over the remaining award period
