My Philips CD 135 cordless phone is still under (extended) guarantee and today seems to have developed a fault. The caller on the other end of the line cannot hear me - I have to shout and still my voice is faint. When the caller returned my call and I picked up the corded phone I could be heard OK.
Anyone any ideas?
Thanks
T
(I was going to delete this as the phone is working OK now post but the "Delete" buttons seems to be hiding - may be under the column on the right)

Try the classic computer cure-all. Unplug the base unit from the mains, count to ten and then plug it in again.
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.
