Does anyone feed virgin coconut oil to their dog?

My dog has dry itchy skin (allergies) and I read that feeding coconut oil really helps with eczema and dry skin amongst other things. I have some but haven'y tried it yet. Has anyone on here? What did you find and how soon did you see any change?
I have realised I will never play the Dane! :(

Where are my medals? Everyone else on here has medals!! :p

    I use coconut oil both for myself and for TJ. You can use it internally or just on the skin. Give it a week and you really can see a difference.

    Can I ask Chris what benefits you have noticed yourself from the coconut oil? There was a big thread on it a while ago but seems to have gone quiet. My dog has been on it a couple of days and seems to be getting a sheen on his coat (dare I say it!!) he has never had that before! :D

    I give ours Kronch pure salmon oil every day. But have a look at Dermacton allergy products.
