Who do I call, what do I do!??!

In a Nutshell........(please move if on wrong board)

Had an Egg card that I was paying back, slowly, too slowly for their liking, and 2 weeks ago started getting calls 2/3 times a day from a company that had bought my egg card debt.

I told them I was expecting some money in about a month, and would call to make arrangements for payments. This put them off for all of about4 hours, then they started calling again.

I reiterated my point, they seemed to accept it, not heard from them for about 10 days.

Just tried to call them, to make final settlement offer, as this money has come in, and apparently "this service is no longer available"

So is the debt back with Egg?

Cannot remember for the life of me the name of this co, something like "capital credit" ?!?!?

Many thanks

When you say "this service is no longer available" do you mean you are getting a recorded message or that they won't any longer accept an offer?

If you are getting a recorded message it might mean they have gone out of business.
So you might have to wait for administrators/receivers to come into play.

Can you phone EGG? After you go through the telephone security procedures they may be able to un-freeze your internet access.
