How much to sell TV for?

Tenth Anniversary
I am thinking of selling my TV as I am looking to get a bigger one, but have no idea how much to sell it for.

It's a 3 year old Samsung 37" LCD, HD ready with Freeview in perfect condition.

I am thinking of advertising it in the local paper and have looked in there for an idea of prices, but there was nothing similar for sale.

Would be grateful for any suggestions.

Check the prices for ended auctions on ebay. Chances are someone's sold one fairly recently. Ebay can be a weird one, things randomly selling for more than they're worth, but assuming there are a few auctions for the same item, you should be able to work out what it's worth.
They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it

A 37" "HD Ready" Sammy with Freeview can be had for £300 brand new, I doubt you'll find anyone willing to pay more than £150.

Thanks. Do you have a link or can tell me where they are going for that price? I haven't found one that low.

On the ended auctions on ebay they went for £250-300 which I thought was a lot.

Slightly OT but what is the preferred/better flat screen technology these days and do they last as long as say,my existing CRT telly?
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..
