Just curious what types of insulation should be used within a 3" wooden partion frame...used to make a utility room with a garage?
also a what type of insulation should be used when latting the walls (4" single brick)?

I should imagine it depends on what is the access & from where & through what.Not Again0 -

no access problems, as partian wall is all being built up from new. Just builder has been using a polystyrene material very similar to what is used in electrical packaging, and i thought it should be the foam blocks as used in cavity walls.0

How about the Kingspan stuff? Easy to cut and fit into the studwork.......0
