Hi all,
I've got my laptop connected to broadband (with plus.net) at home with a BT voyager 1060 wireless laptop adapter, which slots into the side of the computer.
Later this week I'm working away from home and wondered how to connect to other wireless networks.
I've got a £10 free WI-FI credEcard. (Thanks Martin) - but how to use it? (Will it work?)
Do I have to change anything (computer settings) - or will it just search automatically for other networks? How do I connect?
I really do need internet access, so advice greatly appreciated.

you can use it away from home - you need to find somewhere with Wifi hotspots.
I think most macdonalds, starbucks have them and a lot of hotels now have it.
Would ensure that you have a decent firewall on your lappy, it should pick up any avaiable networks.Ever stop to think and forget to start again?0 -
Check out http://wifi.credecard.com/hotspots.cfm to see where you can use it..
also i'm with plus too and they do a PAYG and pay monthly wireless access which can be charged directly to your plus account. check out the portal to see about that.Ever stop to think and forget to start again?0
