help - worried! paypal-hijack?

in Techie Stuff
received an email, stating it was from paypal and that someone had tried to access my account from abroad. and tried to hijack it
click on link to verify its your account.
if you dont, your account will be suspended.
without thinking i just clicked on llink.
not remembering until after i had clickd, that my email address with paypal was on another email account.
well it took me to a website, that stated that 'this website has been hijacked'.
well i am really worried now , in case i might have downloaded a virus.
has this happened to eanyone else, ?
should i be worried?
could someone jput my mind at ease.

i would think you were ok, not entering your details saved you the most pain i suspect!

no virus, I would just go and change your password now to be sure
if you want to be 100% sure then work through posts 1 to 4 of this
