The stem on one of my tyre valves has a big gouge out of it. Is it still safe to drive?
No wonder Kwik Fit didn't charge to remove 2 seized on valve caps, even though I asked for the valves to be replaced in the first place!

Cheers,
Going to pop in to a Indy tyre centre tomorrow morning to have it done.
Even I thought Kwik Fit couldn't f*** this job up!0 -
No tyre place worth a mention will change a tyre without changing the valve at the same time. They simply cut off the old and pull in a new one, but you don't say if it was new tyres or what you payed?????
What's the actuall question Lee???I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

I didn't have Kwik Fit replace any tyres. I went to Kwik Fit to have two tyre valves replaced due to seized on metal valve caps. I was willing to pay but they managed to get the caps off without having to put new valves in. Only to ruin the black rubber coating on the stem of one of the valves. e.g. big chunk out of one.0 -
