i friend of mine wants sky without the 12 months subs. at aldi this week he has seen a complete kit for £59. however it says free to air on the box and appears not to have a card slot. am i right in saying to get channel 4 and 5 you need a free-sat card therefore you need a slot? also whats the difference between free to air and free to view? thanks

My dad bought one of these a few years ago. I dont think its got sky- it was good if you wanted to watch foreign TV though! Loads of french, italian and german and arabian channels! Perfect picture too! (he had it pointed at the hotbird satellite)0
