I have my eye on a house I want to buy and do-up and then hopefully sell again.
It is old fashined overall, but the windows look newish and less than 5 years old I would saym maybe even a couple of years old.
Is there any sort of indemnity insurance you can take out that would save me having to replace them in the refurbishment? something the that will give the new buyer peace of mind like a guarantee would?
thanks for any advice

why?
most warranties are not transferable, so no buyer would be bothered about any window warranty.Get some gorm.0 -
thank-you very helpful, the last place I did up had brand new windows with a transferable guarantee, but thanks again for being so helpful0

If I was buying a house, it would never occur to me to even consider that there might be a warranty with the windows or with any other part of the house, come to that.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -
Hi
I had my second set of replacement windows last year (been here for 25 years) and took out insurance with glass federation (sorry, can't remember name and papers not to hand).
This covers event of installing company ceasing trading and is transferable.
Like most things, may offer extra confidence to any purchaser?
Good luck.0
