Afternoon,
Have any of you regulars on here ever appealed a decision when you have been declined for a CC or something similar?
I have been tempted but wondered if it is possible to overturn the original decision
Thanks
Neil

I have read on forums about people appealing, I do vaguly remember one where he sent some bank statements and other evidence to support his appeal, which was then allowed, but I believe his issue was lack of anything on his credit rating rather than say bad credit or too much credit held.
I suppose you lose nothing by having a go and at least it would be considered by a human as opposed to a computer.

I appealed my Ulster Bank decision. I sent in three months of bank statements and was accepted0

Was that Bank Account or Credit Card?
Only credit I currently have are VANQUIS @ £1500 & JACAMO @ £1300.
I have been declined by AQUA and CAPITAL ONE yet I see people who have CAP1 and can't get VANQUIS.0 -
I appealed when my bank (Natwest) declined me for a credit card, they accepted my appeal and gave me a platinum credit card based on my good account conduct. I have never done it before but thought it couldn't hurt to try & it was well worth appealing for me.0

Years ago maybe, somebody would have looked at it but these days nobody seems to want to take a chance if the computer says no there must be a reason for it?0
