European Satellite Help Please!!

HI,
Im gonna be upfront and say that basically i want a European Satellite system for the main purpose to watch premiership games. I've done some research but really need some help as in:
Can someone recommend a cheap/quality receiver (Technomate 1500+ good?)
Can someone recommend a cheap/quality dish?
Do i need a motorised dish?
What viewing cards do i need?
Should i order system and pay to get it set up or do it myself (hopeless at diy!)
Any help would be good!!
