First Direct - Why you choose them?

In my case it is more why they have chosen me - they are the first UK bank to accept my online application without me living >= 3 years in UK and issue me a Maestro Debit card. CS is fine so far, however most of the money that comes in is transferred to my Nationwide Flexaccount because of the better rate.iaye carramba!0

Instant availability
Courtesy and helpful attitude
Receiving a security check if there's a larger than usual transaction spotted
Having a feeling that there's actual help at the end of the line...not someone who couldn't give a damn.
Internet Banking Plus
Offset Mortgage (for the last few years of it's existence...saving us quite a bit in comparison to previous lender)
If the interest rates are not up to scratch for any large savings, then it's easy enough to find a savings account elsewhere to park your dosh (hence the Internet Banking Plus
). But for a current account where the money goes in every month and then goes out constantly, I'll stay where the impressive customer service is to be found.:D 0
