Problems with Flash Player 10 crashing IE and Firefox

I am having massive problems with Flash Player 10 crashing anything online that is graphics hungry. It's happening roughly every 20 mins and is driving me crazy.

I've found some instructions to solve this online, but am having some difficult getting my head round tham and am not really confident in following the instructions.

I would ideally just like to uninstall this and download a previous vrsion that doesn't have this bug.

Is anyone able to help me solve this problem? Even giving me the instructions in moron friendly language would help.

The version is actually 10.2. something.

install opera. the browser, IE is too buggy anyway

Thanks for the help - once I knew that 10.1 was stable I managed to follow the crumbs and uninstall existing version and install that instead. Simples!
