Does anyone know where the best price is for an Toshiba adaptor

By Googling I discover that you are talking about the power supply adaptor. Here's one for £24.50 from Amazon (other fine suppliers are available...)..0

Just avoid the £7-£10 ones on Ebay - they fry batteries and worse.0

Just out of curiosity I went down to Currys today, compatibles were £60 upwards and Toshiba ones were around £140:eek:
I went straight to an independant little store and got a proper Toshiba one for £35. Job done,
I know I could have shopped around on line but i needed one in a hurry and felt i had got a bargain so Im happy with that.
