I have question regarding connection between eligibility to claim benefits and registration through Working Registration Scheme (WRS) for people comming from EEA countries.
I came to UK 7 years ago and registered straight away after I found a job, however I did not renew my details with home office when I found another job after 3 months (I should have let them know ASAP- but at that time I wasn't aware of that). Now after living here and working for 7 years I am worried I might have a problem of getting child benefit when my baby is born in December this year. Is that a case?

You will be requested to send a WRS certificate for your current employment to the Child Benefit Office, so if you haven't already registered your current employment with the Home Office you should do this before you make your Child Benefit claim. If you've already got an up-to-date WRS certificate for your current employer then you don't need to worry.0
