exterior wall in garage

I have had a garage built on to the side of my house and of course one of the walls in the garage has the little white stones on it ( I cannot remember what that finish is called, pebbledash perhaps )

Anyway, what can I do to stop all the little white stones coming off when I brush against the wall when I get out of my car?

Is there a coating I can put on the wall and what would a rough cost be?

I have a piece of hardboard where my car door hits the wall.

you could render the whole wall for a nice neat job. or cheapest way is just stick/fix an old carpet onto the wall.
    far better than hardboard.
    Get some gorm.

I seen a cheap stick on thing at Home bargain that sticks to walls to stop car door getting damage how about something like that

    I'm confused.

This pebbledash is on the inside of the garage? Why?

Or, having had a garage built, you are parking on the outside? Why?

Freshly applied pebbledash will shed stones for a short while after application and rubbing against it will rub stones off. It isn't intended to be rubbed against.

think the OP means its the existing house wall, now inside the new garage.

Rendering is probably the best solution.

I think if I was having a garage built I'd have had it made big enough to avoid the door opening problem.

Can be difficult if the neighbour won't give up some of their land ;)
