Tried pistonheads, adtrader, freeads, car forums - not a great deal of joy.... All free options.
Was thinking about ebay but it seems most people on there want a mega bargain.
Autotrader - not cheap.
Any other suggestions?

You could try these guys -

They seem reasonable for the price. They claim to put the advert on few decent sites for the price of one.
Haven't used them so can't vouch for them.0 -
Only ever had joy on eBay. Autotrader was only crank calls, local ads were fruitless, but had over 100 watching my last sale and although didnt quite get market price for it, it was a quick sale and know that the interest drove the price up to a more reasonable fee after the cheap starting price.
You can always stick a reserve on it?:A Luke 6:38 :AThe above post is either from personal experience or is my opinion based on the person God has made me and the way I understand things. Hmm. Would be interested in any feedback on these people...0 -
I've sold two cars in the last six months and both have been on Autotrader. I've tried other sites both times, but each time the calls came from Autotrader.
If the car is priced fairly then it will sell. This is my signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.0 -
Yeh. Thing is I'm selling the car for about £1300 and the proper valuation seems to be more like £1600.
Its got a few minor dents/scratches etc but its pretty OK.
Had some guy come around the other night and he tutted at every scratch. What do people expect for an 8 year old car, 93K miles, and just over £1000???? :-(0
