Ive been doing rather alot of Decopatching over the last few years, infact you could say I am on border line addicted! Ive even gone to the extreme of Decopatching my ford ka, much to my husbands discust!

Your right on the glue it is a little costly. The only other glue I have tried is PVA, some people dont seem to have a problem. But me personally, I dont think PVA is any where near as good as the Decopatch glue. PVA is a bit thicker, so first you have to go to the trouble of watering it down. Then you have the problem, that it really doesn't dry as quickly as the Decopatch Glue and you can be sliming all over the place on smaller objects. the Decopatch glue seems to dry in seconds. Lastly you have the problem where you have to invest in a varnish if you use PVA as I have found that the Decopatch paper just started to peal off. So quite frankly it just doesn't make sense to me to buy PVA over the actual Decopatch Glue, because it can work out just as expensive and far more hassle!

I have found a rather good website, that does do an awful lot of Decopatch products! In fact it seems to have nearly everything! Plus almost everything is discounted (including the glue).

I tried PVA, and it really doesn't work at all well. Far too stciky and you say, it peels.The proper stuff is dearer, but better value the bigger size bought. I get mine online, these guys stock a really good range, biggest I have seen.
