Decopatch?

Last year I started doing a bit and just found a bit of the paper leftover and covered a little photo frame, and I was just wondering does anywhere online have a sale on because it is quite expensive?
Also Do you need to use the decopatch glue or is there a cheaper alternative that works just as well as my pot has almost run out.
Thanks

check out the shabby chic post on here.
A lot of the ladies on there decoupage using napkins and pva glue and they have made some really amazing things

i think it depends on what you are decoupaging fabrics/papers whether its thick thin etc i like to use silicone glue it is my preferred choice but it does take a few hours to properly dry. my experience at the moment of decoupage though is limited to cardmaking and scrapbooking have not tried a larger project yetI am a stay at home mum with a passion for life and all things crafty:xmastree::santa2::xmastree:0

The board guides might be doing something with it, or maybe they deleted it in error “A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

Sorry Star123 for hijacking your thread. Getting back to your question, there is also something called Mod Podge which you can buy online as well as in craft shops. Not sure how prices compare though.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

Still missing.:oCome back shabby chic thread.Hopefully it will be fixed by tomorrow and it's just a mistake.:)
To answer op I have used tesco floral paper napkins and pva glue and decorated a wooden bathroom unit. Then I put matt satin varnish over the top to protect it.It's amazing what you can achieve with good old pva glue.:female:Our 2 gorgeous little girls born 2006 and 2010
