EDF: switching to another tariff of theirs
Hi there
Sorry if this comes across as really stupid, but I am currently on EDF Online S@ver v4 and it ends in September. I went on money supermarket to just do some comparing out of interest and it came up that EDF Online S@ver v6 would save me money. I know that if I leave for another supplier before September I will have to pay 25 pounds per fuel, but is this still the case if I stay with EDF and just move tariff?
Again sorry if this is a silly question
Thanks in advance

Why not call them and see?
They may agree to waive the early exit fees which expire in about 3 months for an agreement to stay with them for another year. (or suffer early exit fees)"Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -
If they want to charge you to move to another tariff that will tie you in for another year, I would leave anyway. I think you will be ok though. If your account is on line you can normally find out these things and move on line0

no, you wont get charged the termnination fee if you change tariffs with them, its only if you go to another supplier x0
