Afternoon everyone, what a quiet Monday it's been in here today.

Work this morning was fairly quiet, nothing too taxing so thats good
Still haven't heard anything from a job I applied for :( which is a shame, really need more money coming in.
Have a stack more to tackle this afternoon and tomorrow, although first task is to finish eating my lunch and get the house somewhere resembling tidy.

Just while I'm thinking about it too, where might I find some pasta recipes that keep well in the fridge for a couple of days that I can do for work lunches??

Lots of love & hugs xxxxxx

Lizzie - so long as there is no cream in the sauce most pasta dishes will survive a couple days in the fridge. Just use you imagination and experiment! I don't think I've ever made the same pasta dish twice cos I tend to just bung in whatever I feel like;)

Thanks Luc. The one I just had was yesterdays chicken, sweetcorn & reggae reggae sauce :) Yummy. Really need to start a meal plan before I go shopping tomorrow. It's starting to feel like we're getting to the end of the week with nothing very exciting to eat, and OH likes his food!!!

    Hi Lizzie,

For lunches I make a pretty simple pasta which keeps well, but is tasty. Just pasta, mushrooms, corn, onion and some tinned tomatoes - I often add bacon or ham to it. I usually make a big pot of it which does about 6-7 portions and then put it in the fridge for me and hubby to take to work. To make it a little tastier, I grate some cheese in the morning and put it in a little bag, then sprinkle it over the pasta at lunchtime before I heat it up, so it goes all melt-y :D Yummy!

    Jo :)

I saw that job advertised ;) Braver than me though to go for it!!

Head change time and then teaching tonight. Finally decided what teaching I wanted for next year and have opted for 3x3 week courses, 1 in November and 2 in March. No doubt I will have my ear bent because I've chosen so little from the list of cookery courses but I can't have another year like this one and I really don't enjoy it now. They will just have to find another tutor to do all the others. I am not going to do all the work needed anymore for so little money.

Too bloomin' right BB. Seems to me that you are a very useful Member of the Teaching Team, but you seem to get little appreciation!
Is there any way you could still teach Cookery Courses but make the money for yourself?....doing it privately?
