I've got cream carpets in the bedrooms and was thinking of buyng a steam cleaner to give them a good clean.
A couple of things, are these cleaners worth buying and do they work to clean carpets.
Any tips would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I've got a steam vacuum cleaner rather than just a steam cleaner (so the dirt gets vacuumed up after the steam shifts it and I can also use it as a normal vacuum without steam) and it's absolutely great. My carpet is well over 10 years old and was considering changing it, but now I am quite happy to keep it for another few years...Now free from the incompetence of vodafail0

Can't comment on the ones you buy, but have hired commercial wet n dry cleaners where you spray on water with detergent in it on to the carpet and then suck it up. Has given good results in the past and would happily recommend them. Mayve cheaper than buyin one and you don't have storage issues.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

the vax type cleaners do a fair job, but the hire shop cleaners are far better.
if you know anyone at HSS hire shops, the staff get a 50% discount.Get some gorm.0
