I have an item listed on EBAY
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200477921153&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT
I am now in a position that yesterday I reduced the item to £500 from £550 and it needs to be sold and collected by Weds 23rd June. I have had 2 offers at £250 which is too low, I currently have 27 watchers. I can't decided whether to cancel this current buy it now and re-list for 5days as an auction (so the end date is Sat). The minimum I would like to accept is £350.
I could do with some advice from experienced Ebayers, I don't know what to do.

Personally I would take the existing offer, it is a 7 year old oven and I think £250 is a decent price. If you relist it you will have to pay more listing fees and you are running far too tight on time to get it collected. Ideally you want it sold today and collected by the weekend coming at the latest.
If you sell it Saturday you will faff around contacting the buyer who will probabyl not want to collect it until the following weekend.
Alternatively get a small ad in Gumtree now as you can then specify cash on collection and won't risk the paypal on collection scam.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I have changed the price on Ebay to £400 buy it now and also placed an add on gumtree for £350.
When I make a change on EBAY does it notify any watchers that there has been a change to the listing ?Born and bred in Manchester (proud of it)

No it doesn'tnotify them.
I am worried though that you won't get this collected in time, do you have a plan B if it doesn't sell?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Your finish date is 29 June, 6 days after you want it gone, the chances are if any watchers are going to buy it they will wait it out unless someone really wants it. As you've stated when it have to be moved by, they'll know the closer it gets to that date the lower you'll accept for it.0

hi if it were me i'd take the £250 or relist it as a 3 day action, if you hit the relist button then change all the details from there the watchers you had will get an email notification 'a watched item has been relisted' i'd be inclined to start at what you want for it as it seems to be one of those items that may only get 1 bidder on.
I find adds like gumtree too slow for a quick sale like you need but worth a try.
Have you tried adtrader and preloved?
As hermum says people do like to wait it out and as soolin says plan b? do you have the option to take it with you? If not i'd take what i can get otherwise you'll be looking at giving it away or leaving it behind!
The problem with changing the BIN price is your watchers may not notice as with that many days to go it will be at the bottom of their watch lists and i don't bother setting up snipes or deciding on a purchase until it has less than 24hrs to go.0 -
Definately go with Gumtree, I really like it.
As for your auction, please add more pics. I recently bought a new range style cooker, which I love. However, I got it for a bargain price, because pics were few and not great. Others I was watching had loads more pics and went for lots more.
When looking, I want to see a top view, front view, doors open, close ups of dials to see numbers etc. are not worn, pics inside ovens if poss, so they can be seen to be clean etc.I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.
Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.0 -

Plan B , was to take it with us but it is touch and go if it will fit on the removal van. Plan C was to leave it in the house I have given the new buyers the opportunity to make an offer but they haven't got back to me. I am sure they will be hoping that I can't sell it and leave it.
I think I am now going to re-list as a 3day auction, I have had an e-mail from somebody this morning who is interested but they are waiting for their cooker to be collected.
Thanks for all your advice, I am just so stressed with moving and I just want to get rid of it now but on the other hand I don't want to give it away.Born and bred in Manchester (proud of it)

As someone else has said, I would try your local Gumtree, it's free to post items for sale. When I've put things on there I've usually got a good price & it's all cash on collection. I've also sold some things that have been listed on ebay a couple of times & not sold, yet on Gumtree I've got a higher price than I asked on ebay.
Can you sell items for free in your local paper? Not everyone can use the internet.0
