Hi there,
Over the last year I have countless call from 3g call centre in India. I have told them that I am not interested in another mobile phone told then to take me off their call list, tried to be nice and even told them to f off (which resulted in another call immediately telling me to mind my manners) They won't take no for an answer and even today got another call some guy looking for my mobile no (which of course I didn't give) and saying that he wants to be my friend. As far as I can remember I even rang their hq in uk and was promised that I would be taken off call list, but no joy. I am getting at least one or 2 calls per week. How do I finally get rid of them without changing my number?
thanks
Joe

They kept bugging me every night i sat down with my dinner phone would ring inspite of me telling them not to phone and i wasnt interested. So 4 weeks ago i told them i was registered with the TPS telephone preference service and could i have their details so i could inform the tps of them so as they would be fined for bugging me.The lady apologised and said i wouldnt be called again and it worked i havent heard from them in over a month. It worked for me anyway0

Just make up your own language and answer each question in gobbledegook
We had this too but they stopped calling after a while.... I think it was when my husband blew his top at them.Just run, run and keep on running!0 -
I had this happen to me loads at my old house, with them being rude and even threatening to me on the phone. I told them I wasn't interested, I asked to be removed from the lists, I registered with TPS but all to no avail it seemed. Luckily though, I managed to catch them out as I could get the phone number they called from on 1471 one time and rang BT to see what they could do. They said they couldn't do anything about it as it was an international call, but having the number still allowed me to check the caller display when the phone rang (if it was them I picked up the phone and put it striaght back down.)
I did email 3G and very curtly expressed my displeasure and that perhaps stopped it. Either way it really stressed me out and they always called at about 7:30, I once got 3 calls in one day and for weeks would have at least one call per day. Needless to say, I would *never* go with 3G for a phone contract incase I ever had to speak to that bunch of tw@ts again!0 -
I had this happen to me a while back so i hung up in the middle of the call cos i couldn't be bothered but they rang back straight away so i just canceled it. They stopped after 4 canceled calls. I wont answer my mobile unless the number of the caller shows, if its important they will leave a message.0

Trust me they don't like rape alarms going off in the same room as the phone!!!!! :rotfl:0

I had them phone me today:
3G: "Hello, can I speak to Mr xxxxxx please?"
Me: "Who's calling?"
3G: "Hello Mr xxxxxx, I'm from 3G..."
Me <interrupting>: "Oh, is that the company that phoned me the other week, and when I said I didn't have a mobile phone, the bloke was really rude and just hung up on me?"
3G: "Ermm...I'm from 3G..."
Me <interrupting again, loudly>: "Yes, the company who were really rude to me the other week - the bloke hung up on me when I said I didn't have a mobile phone?"
3G: "I'm sorry to hear that, I'm from 3G, do you have a mobile phone?"
Me: "I've just told you twice, which part of "I haven't got a mobile phone" don't you understand?"
3G: "Would you like a mobile phone?"
Me: "No."
3g: "Err...sorry, have a nice evening."
Me: "You too!"
I quite like it when they call.If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
Just buy a whistle. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0
