Sony BDP560 blu ray player

Options
Hi, i have been looking at getting a blu ray player for a while and have come across the sony bdp560 for less than £130 brand new, is this a good price, as i want a sony one and notice this has got built in wi-fi which also appeals, better than paying £80 for a wi-fi dongle anyway, which is really the only thing i could put into a blu ray player that was not wi-fi ready where i am going to site it, just want to know if it is worth getting at that price, and also are there any known problems with them

TIA
Take every day as it comes!!

It's a decent enough price but that is very much last year's model. The new S370 can be picked for £130 from Amazon, which can do SACD and has BBC iPlayer built it. Depends how much you need the wi-fi - chances are Sony will have the S570 in the UK soon.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Ive just bought the S370 and can tell you its incredible for the price
Plays blurays and hd sound better than my ps3
    Upscales dvds very well
    Even plays MKV files etc
Does DSD (direct digital) withy SACD
    Also plays iplayer etc
Problem obviously is the wireless, I have mine connected via homeplugs

bingo, did not think about homeplugs, i got them set up already for my bt vision, so could i in theory buy another homeplug and have 3 running of my system, if so is it preferable to have the same make homeplug, i would prefer a later model, but price is the key factor

Or a cheap 4-port switch if the player and BT Vision were close.

any idea when the S570 is going to hit the stores in the uk, it seems to be only available in the uk at the link you have provided, all reviews i have read suggest that sony where going to release it in the uk in may, i have emailed amazon and they dont know when or if they are going to stock it, got a free pay month next month, so if i had to i would pay the £230 from the link provided, but i am guessing if more stockists stocked it, there may be some competition on price, and it seems strange that there is only 1 stockist of this product if it is supposed to be one of sonys newer range

and also is that product for sale on that website, as if you try navigating to that product by using the menu keys on the left of the screen, or even put the name of the product in the search box at the top, there seems to be now way of getting that product up, so dont know how you managed to get that link you have put in your post.
