What order are you getting things

I made a spreadsheet and have a column with "worst case" prices, and at the top it has a running total, which is red if over our limit (£10k) and green if under it. As ive got quotes in its lowered and is now back in the green.
Next column is actual money paid out so far, again will go red if it gets over £10k.....
That's what we have, a spreadsheet with calcs, different columns & colours

here's what we've got sorted at the moment (and in the order we got them)
- church & priest
- wedding venue
- flowergirl dress (on sale and couldn't resist!)
- photographer
- save the dates (still to be sent lol)
- wedding car
- wedding invitation designed but still have to make them all up.
- wedding dress (which was a dress i really loved and saw on sale so instead of faffing about and looking around at other dresses i took it as a sign and just bought it!)
we also have a fair idea of where the OH is going to be hiring his suit (well kilt) as it's the only place that does the kilt pattern he likes.
have found a lovely bridesmaid dress for my sister but trying to find it at a better price, hopefully we'll get that soon.
currently holding off on a florist as i'm going to try and make the bouquets from felt and buttons.
the rest of the stuff will come in time, i think our next biggie is trying to find a band (we're both music nuts so this is an important one for us)
i have a list of stuff stuck on my fridge at home and we're ticking the stuff off as we go. thankfully we've been really good at saving so we should have enough to cover everything we want to do without getting into debt over the whole thing

Where abouts are you Gandy and what kind of music would you be after?
I'm arguing with my invites this morning, tempted just to email people :rotfl:0 -

northern ireland (fermanagh is where the wedding is going to be held), music wise i think we should be okay. my OH and best man put on gigs in belfast so i'm sure we can get one of the bands we work with to play ... well hopefully anyway.
i don't know what to do for the church though, i know what songs i want and in truth i just want music and not a singer but the church is fairly big and just a pianist probably won't be very well heard!
i'm tempted just to buy the music and play it via the sound system in the church, would work out so much cheaper but i'm still debating over that.
going to a wedding this weekend at home so i'll see what they've done lol :rotfl:0 -
Our order is so far...
Decided on a budget
Booked Ceremony
Booked Venue
Sent out Save the dates
Bought Swarovski crystals for tables.... obviously important! Lol! I just loved them!
Booked Photographer
Bought a Dress
Bought all bits for all the stationary
Don't need any cars as venue across the road from hotel
Sister doing flowers
Awaiting a reply to an email a couple of days ago about a personalised, handmade cake topper
Everything else decided on either on my moodboard or in my head, except the band or dj dilemma I'm currently deciding on.... decisions, decision!:heartpuls dawnebabe :heartpuls0 -
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I have loads of contact but it's not much use as you'er not even in the same country!!!
I'd think a singer/choir would have to be truly amazing to be memorable, to me anyway, otherwise stick a CD on, everyone with be stunned by how gorgeous you are not what the singer is doing0
