Help identifying mystery bulbs!

Hi,

I have been donated some bulbs, but I have no idea what they are! Would anyone like to take a guess?

    sorry, thread amended! not very good at these things.

    I heard you shouldnt split tulips as they wont flower, is this correct?

    I am fairly certain the last two are purple/blue hyacinth bulbs.

    They need to be planted in autumn, I beleive...

    Thanks Valli, at least I can now look into these ones and make a start on planning where to put them all - I have two buckets full!

    Those in the trays look like Tulips to me. The latter bulbs, as a previous poster has said, are hyacinth.

    Think I will just have to plant them out and hope for the best, but as long as I have an idea of what they are I can make some sort of attempt at planting them in a scheme.

    Top pics are tulips and the bottom ones are hyacinths :)
