Advice on putting tesco vouchers on ebay?

Hi everyone, I just wandered is it a wise idea to put tesco vouchers on ebay?
Its just that ive been saving them for ages now but i dont have anything i want to use them on.
I dont like using ebay much as i have had some bad experiences and find that is very one sided (generally in the buyers favour).
If I put the vouchers on there and they sell and I convert them and send them off to the winner is there any way they can try and scam me. Eg: say they were out of date? werent what they asked for etc.

technically tesco vouchers are non transferable so cant be sold on. I realise alot of people do but I think you are potentially opening yourself up to alot oftrouble and as you have already said that you are wary I wouldnt bother!
There are so many things you can use Tesco vouchers for and the expiry date is so long on them, are you sure you cant make use of them? treat yourself!0 -
Maybe you could see if friends or family need anything that you can exchange them for?
I dont know if you have looked at the clubcard website recently, but there are many things you could treat yourself with. I have taken advantage of the Goldsmiths one 3 times now to buy a 60th Birthday present for parent & in Laws. (£50 tesco vouchers = £200 Goldsmiths, you cant exchange any lower then this).
If there really isnt anything you would like & your not keen on ebay then I would just use them to get my shopping.0 -
Whenever I've used my vouchers at Tesco, they always check the number on the voucher corresponds to my Tesco Clubcard number - is this not the case for everyone else? If it is, then surely only you (or someone with your clubcard) can use the vouchers?0

They've never checked the name on my card. If you did sell them on ebay most of the deals don't have your name on (with the exception of Goldsmiths, Cosmos, Tops Tiles (I think). I was thinking about selling mine but am also very cautious about it.0
