Products for using after permanent blow dries/keratin treatments should be sulphate free. When I get a coppola keratin treatment done you are given a coppola shampoo and conditioner as part of the cost. These should be sulphate free but I don't like using the shampoos as they don't lather and I find my hair doesn't feel clean after using them. I only wash my hair once or twice a week so like it to feel clean afterwards.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Hi, I found out yesterday that the new Body Shop hair products are going to be without silicones and chemicals. They come out at the end of July.

Expensive but totallly worth it - Ojon products. I have the curly fuzzy hair that becomes one huge triangle when I let it dry naturally with no products and since I started using these I regularly have strangers asking me what I use on my hair. I use all of their range (why oh why does it have to be so expensive!) and I do use a hairdryer on my hair but find that I don't get split ends with this brand.....and I've tried a lot of products! The 2 products below are my can't live without pieces. You can buy it at John Lewis and I think QVC also sell it, I hear it's great for afro-carribean hair as well.

Daily Intensive Shine Treatment - http://www.johnlewis.com/230554338/Product.aspx - great leave in conditoner and tames the fuzz
Hair Care Restorative Treatment - http://www.johnlewis.com/69754/Style.aspx - Pre Shampoo treatment, does wonders and great for fixing split ends (don't need a lot, lasts for ages)

I use their shine shampoo & conditioner as well, but if on a desert island and had to choose the 2 above are the definate must haves.

Have you tried to buy the main ingredients (oils/butters etc) unrefined and use them instead, without the added chemicals?

I love Tigi products and they have really sorted out my hair (well that and Organix)

I used the Oatmeal and honey S&C for damaged/dry hair and it worked wonders. Now my hair isn't so damaged I have just bought 'moisture maniac' which is meant to be good. No cones but unfortunately the shampoo has SLS in it :(. TJ Hughes sell £750ml bottles for under £10.

The organix (pomergranate and green tea) is cones free and SLS free and also very good for dry hair.
