LLoyds tsb cash account help

I phone Lloyds TSB and they offered me a cash account as i did not fit the requirements for a classic account I would like to know how long does it take for a account to become active and does i need to pay any money into the cash account before they send out any details i opened it yesterday at 4.30pm.

Any help would be grateful

I left the branch with all my details. had cards and pin within 4-5 days. It was only then I paid cash into the account, being a cynic I didn't want to pay anything in until I had the ability to withdraw it.

So your account was active on the same day can you confirm that also somone said it takes 24 hours for the account to start working can you also confirm that too please if you can.

I opened mine in branch, as I waited until I had written confirmation and card and pin before using the account I can't confirm when it was active. Have you tried phoning their phone banking to ask, they're usually very helpful.

I will phone them later I need to go into a halifax branch to resetup telephone banking as halifax won't let me set it up on phone as i entered my 6 digit number wrong.
