Selling Itouch songs on?

I want to sell my Itouch but do I have to take the songs off there that I have purchased?

Depends. Where/how are you selling it? If it is 'cash in hand', I would let the other party 'delete' the songs
, but if it was eBay, I would personally do a reset of the device to factory settings, so they get it fresh and you know your personal details aren't at as much risk.

The songs will automatically be deleted when they conect ti Itunes as it will be syncing to a diferent library.

thanks both, not sure yet just made a decision and then thought would i need to. I'm guessing then it would be pointless keepign them on there if it syncs and loses them anyway.

You can, using certain software, copy songs off the iTouch before syncing it with iTunes, so if you know what you're doing, there is an advantage to buying the player with songs on it. I know someone *cough cough* who did exactly this. Of course, you have to delete all the music on the iPod if you keep a copy of it on your hard disc. Isn't this common sense?0
