I'm setting myself a target of £50. I have one item finishing tomorrow and lots of items in my shop. Saying that, I only make 48p per item on those things now because of the change in postage.

    Good luck everyone!

  • Yep - count me in too. I've added up what I want/expect to spend in September and it's £50 less than my salary payment, so I need to make it up from somewhere or cut back. I've got a stash of CDs (free samples, yeah!) under my desk at work, so will take them home tonight to list. I've not been motivated to do this for ages as CD prices are so much less than they used to be. Still, I do sometimes get the occasional nutter - somebody paid me £26 for a James Last Christmas CD last year  Quite bizarre - especially as it's one of those budget label CDs that you can buy at the garage for less than £5. I hope that buyer is still around............:rotfl:

I have something listed right now, listed in Aug, but will end in Sept. Will that count?

  • I'd like to join in this too if that's ok. But any advice on what kind of things aren't worth selling / are worth selling would help.

Also how do you decide what to charge for postage?

Postage charge depends on what you are sending and what you package the item in. I sent a Haynes car manual, hardback heavy A4 sized book, and it cost £2.75 to post in a jiffy bag style envelope, which cost about 65p.
