Collection Only - best form of payment?

Hey guys! Got a big item to sell on eBay, can only be collection only (or will think about courier if a buyer asks). What is the best method of payment? I usually go for paypal but I've seen a lot of collection-only's which say "cash on collection only".

Which would you reccommend? Thank you in advance :)

    Cash.

Paypal is a no no for collection (even though you have to offer it), because the buyer can claim not to have received the item (despite it being collection only) and they then steal your money with the help of eBay and Paypal.

Ah! I have another question - can I turn the (enforced) paypal option off?

No, you have to offer it within the listing.

You must offer paypal and you must accept it if used. That leaves you in a quandry and you may need to rethink your sale as if someone is out to scam then all they do is pay by paypal and there is nothing you can do about it.

if you refuse their payment then you are stuck with paying FVFs and possibly get a neg.

Find a way of posting it, however hard it might be. Then put it up with a postage cost but say that collection is availble by prior arrangement, then if someone does want to collect you can inists on cash. If they in turn insist
