I sold a CD to a guy in Austrailia, he has paid by echeque (which I know may not be his fault) but i hate them, also his address is unconfirmed on PayPal also its a P.O. Box address.
Alarm bells are ringing but Im not sure if Im worrying over nothing.
Ive sent him a msg saying thanks for paying but that I cant pos until its cleared and I copied and pasted the dates that pp estimate it'll be cleared by, not heard anything back yet though.
Do RM use Airsure for Austrailia?
I dont want to cancel his payment if i can help it b/c I do need the money

Confirmed or unconfirmed means nothing regarding paypal seller protection any more. Most non US or UK addresses are unconfirmed.
My own address in my 10 year old PP account is confirmed one day then not the following day so its not exactly much of a guide of anythingebay wrote:Shipment to a confirmed address, however, is not necessarily a requirement for coverage under the Seller Protection Policy since not all PayPal users are able to confirm their addresses.
If a transaction is eligible for coverage under the Seller Protection Policy, a seller must post to the address found on the Transaction Details page (regardless of whether that address is confirmed or not).

If it says OK to send then it doesn't matter about the address.
If the item is under £41 then you are covered standard airmail against loss. If you want to upgrade at your own cost then Airsure would cost you an additional £4.90 to cover you up to the standard £41 and a further l £2.50 if over £41. However a signature is not guaranteed so is still not suitable for paypal purposes.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. That's pretty standard in Australia - my in-laws have one as they live out in the bush, so have to collect their post from the local town a few miles away.0
