It's a bit pot luck - as website states:

    http://money.marksandspencer.com/travel/travel-money/more-information/

'Buy up to £10,000 – in a secure environment
There's a Bureau de Change in 121 M&S stores across the UK. Giving you a safe place to buy foreign currency and travellers cheques – 7 days a week, whenever M&S is open.
    Choose how you pay
You can pay for your travel money by cash or credit/debit card. If you use your M&S Credit Card or Chargecard, there are no cash advance or foreign exchange fees. And you get up to 55 days interest free credit, just like other card purchases.
    Bring some ID
A valid passport, full english language driving licence, EU national identity card or UK Armed Forces ID card is required if you are purchasing Travel Money using a credit/debit card including your M&S Card through the Bureau de Change in M&S stores. We also check ID for some cash payments, so bring something with you, just in case.'
