I bought an item and ebay have removed it.

I bought some Calvin Klein boxers yesterday and paid for them straight away.

I've had an email from ebay today saying the item has been removed due to breaching listing rules.

It says to contact the seller if I've already paid to resolve.

However as the item has been removed the links won't let you.

I've contacted them through paypal to ask for a refund as I presume it may have been removed due to being a copy although I could be wrong.

Is there any other way I could have done this?

sorry cant help on the refund bit as its never happened to me. I did read that paypals rules changed recently though and sales outside of ebay are also covered so maybe there is a way you could open a not recieved kind of issue with the payment? Im sure someone more knowledgeable will come along soon.

In terms of why the listing was ended it can be loads of different reasons. Methods of payment mentioned, condition of item (only brand new underwear is permitted on ebay I think due to hygenie), Calvin Klein not wanting their items sold on ebay, and I think someone would have had to report the listing for it to be noticed and cancelled.

It wasn't an outside of ebay payment, it was on ebay. The fact that ebay have removed the item wouldn't matter even if th epaypal rules had changed.

OP, you may well get your item, but i suspect you'll get the fakes that are being sold just about everywhere. If you do get fakes just let paypal know and point out that ebay have removed the listing.
