BBQ Regulator problem

Having set my BBQ up for the first time today (Bit late I know), I tried to attach the regulator to the bottle. The Gas bottle says use a 27mm regulator, and I'd have to assume mine isn't. Where next peeps?

I can't change the regulator for H&S reasons presumably, but I doubt the bottles come with different size necks do they?

Just been through this one myself for the first time.

The manual says to use Propane cylinders, but the retailer recommended a patio Gas cylinder and provided a 27mm regulator for that which is different from those used on the propane tanks.

Maybe a different regulator would do the trick, but it depends on the barbecue.

See if the Calor gas website answers your problem, or failing that speak to them direct. (Better safe than sorry).

Also please note that the thread is left-handed on gas bottles, i.e you have to turn it the opposite way to what you would expect! Apologies if you know this but it does catch people out.
