GOSH - Is Auctiva annoying or what??

I've spent hours trying to create one listing only to have it delay for ages to load each page. Then when I try to save it comes up 'page cannot be displayed' and I lose everything and start over. I know its free but puh-lease! It has always been like this for me even with high speed broadband. What planet are they on for CRYING OUT LOUD??

Has anyone else had these problems? It goes crazy particularly when I try to choose a template. And then having to switch from ebay usa to ebay uk constantly is enough to drive me n-n-nuts!

Rant over

  • I wonder if they are having a maintenance problem? if you look on their community boards you can see if everyone else is having the same problem as you - you shouldn't need to switch from ebay usa to ebay uk, if you look in your preferences you can change the setting.

Please persevere with it, I've used it since may and love it to bits.

  • I just had a quick squint at it and it seems to be working fine now, must have been a little glitch

  • I would highly recommend Turbo Lister.

Having used both Auctiva and TL, I find TL is much easier to use than Auctiva. The best thing about Auctiva is the Scrolling Window.

I don't think Auctiva's description box accepts html code. You might have to insert those links after posting the ad to ebay by using the 'revise your item' option.

Even if you can insert your image hosting links in Auctiva that is likely to mess up your Auctiva template.

I recall that you are only allowed to upload a certain combined size of images at a time. Try reducing the size of your images.
