Loose floor tiles

Have had to take up three ceramic floor tiles that had lost their bonding to the base, if that makes any sense.:(
I now have three tiles, which were all cut to size in the first instance, and I have no replacements to cut, and so have to use these three.
Problem is that they have the tile 'cement' on the bottom of them, and i want to remove it so that I can have a 'fresh' start.
I laid them originally, and as far as I'm aware, I would have used 'normal' floor tile cement to lay them.

Use a grinder
HG stuff is for a light film only
If the tiles have come loose then i would say the substrate has movement....Or the installer has no skills!!Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure0 -
Three tiles that edge onto doorway.
All the other tiles in the hall still sitting fine, installer thinks he'd done well, apart from these three ! lol
Though very fair point.Baby-Mechanic
