Portable DVD drive for Netbook?

Can anyone recommend a suitable lightweight DVD drive for use with a Samsung netbook while travelling? Weight is a factor, so are these available powered by USB rather than via a mains adaptor?
Not looking for a Blu-Ray version.

Due to the power needed, I'm not aware of any that can be powered solely by USB, but I could be wrong

Are you using your own DVDs or are you being given them? If you already have them you could simply rip them to your harddrive or USB stick and therefore not have to worry about the disks or drive0 -
It's not for me, for a friend. Yes there are some USB powered ones it seems.
She doesn't want the 'hassle' of having to copy them over in advance it seems.No free lunch, and no free laptop0
