Photo printing problem

System -XP Home:Photo Editing- PhotoPlus 9; Printer HP Deskjet 5150;
Paper HP 7"x5"

This afternoon I edited a picture and it printed off perfectly, so big :j

Next I wnr to do exactly the same thin with another pic- resized and adjusted dpi as appropriate, saved file. Did all the required adjustments to get a good quality print, all things I am used to doing.

I then pressed the print button and:eek: thrice :eek:
All that printed was about 1" of the photo before the printer ejected the paper. This happened twice. Just in case anyone is wondering all ny ink cartridges are at leat half full. Any thoughts as to what is going wrong? I'm :confused: and I wanted to show some friends, we're visting tomorrow for a few days.

    How did it appear on Print Preview? I have PhotoPlus 10 and when you select Print from the File menu you get a print preview. Cant remember if its the same on older versions. The layout tab on the Print menu shows the width and height of the print before printing. The menu Image, Image size also gives the size of the printed image.

    If this doesn't help try the forum at Serif here. They have a PhotoPlus forum, admittedly for version 10 but if you post someone might be able to help. I just spotted a question there about postcard printing which seemed to be a similar problem to yours. HTH.

    Appeared AOK in preview and I always double chexk settings before printing, honest!

    I have a motto; "it never harms to do a restart", so I did after dinner and all was OK at next attempt. A computer glitch?
